FPU MODULES

Standard Storage / Shipping Modules (Small, Medium, Large Parts)

BOH offers 19 different configurations of standard storage modules, with adjustable drawer slides and dividers, for durable storage and rapid mobilization of multiple materials [Class I, II, III (P), IV, VII, VIII and IX]. All modules are interchangeable and interoperable between FPU-8 and FPU-20 series containers. Module design is standardized [34” W (nominal) x 74” H x 42” D] and features BOH’s patented lock-down mechanism that secures module to FPU container floor. These durable modules are built to withstand the “G-forces” of dynamic load, specifically 3G forward, 2G up and 1.5G aft and lateral. Module drawers available in depths of 4”, 6”, 8”, 10”, 12”, and 16”. Maximum drawer capacities range from 200 to 500 lbs. 3-G Security Locking Bar, Standard Drawer Divider and dust cover available on all Modules.

Specialized Modules

Short/Helo Module - Measures 34” W (nominal) x 74” H x 42” D. Features a 5-drawer bottom half (4”, 6”, 8” drawers interchangeable with other FPU Modules) with a removable stand-alone cage on top half for bulk storage. Cage can accommodate shelf at over 30 optional intervals. Provides 3-G durability/security and can fit inside CH-47, CH-46, CH-53 and Osprey aircraft.

Weapons Module - Measures 34” W (nominal) x 74” H x 42” D. Accommodates 5 weapons (either M16A2 Rifle or 9mm Pistol) or weapons accessories/security drawers. M16A2 Drawer stores 8 weapons each. 9mm Drawer stores 56 weapons each. Each Weapons Module is a mobile arms vault that can secure up to 40 each M16A2 Rifles or 280 each 9mm Pistols. This module is secured by a 3-point locking system. Security Drawer is 8” deep for storage of weapons accessories, like scopes, night vision goggles and repair kits.

HAZMAT Module - Measures 34” W (nominal) x 74” H x 42” D. Meets NFPA 30 and 29 CFR requirements for storage of flammable/corrosive materials. Dual-wall construction with all-steel exterior and spark-resistant interior. USAF/AFMC-approved for transport on C-130, C-5 and C-17 both inside and outside of the FPU-8 and FPU-20 series container. Features 3G bar to secure all drawers in flight, secondary containment, pressure release valve and external grounding lug. The HAZMAT Module enables user to commingle flammables/corrosives with other material in the same FPU-8 or FPU-20 container.

Office Module - 2-man work station that fits inside FPU-8 or FPU-20 series container. Measures 69” W x 74” H x 88” L (unextended position) with adjustable ceiling height (internal) up to 84” H. Features quick-disconnect 110v 60 Hz power, retractable HVAC, shelf for printer/CPU/pop-up monitor, 2-stage door with automatic switch for low-voltage white/red light.

Floor Adapter Plate - BOH’s Floor Adapter Plates are designed to be interchangeable; therefore, may be inserted into any of the FPU-8 and FPU-20 series container systems. These floor plates allow for storage and shipment of bulk commodities.
